Coaching involves supporting, developing, and sharing your knowledge. Would you like to support, develop, and share your knowledge of football? Football is a sport that offers the opportunity for enjoyment as one shares their knowledge of the game. It's exciting and fulfilling to teach and help shape young minds in the world of football.

Background check required.

All volunteer coaches AB 506 requires all organizations that serve children to: Perform a background check of children's volunteers and all staff via the state's Live Scan system.

Volunteer position. 

A volunteer coach is an unpaid assistant to a program or team. The volunteer must be able to provide a service to the team or program that will enhance the experience of both the athletes and coaching staff.

Youth coaches typically have many of the following coaching behavior

• They make training fun.

• Winning is not the priority.

• They teach good sportsmanship.

• The coach does not play favorites.

• They are encouraging enthusiastic and patient.

• They can inspire and motivate 

• Good youth sport coaches have a positive can-do attitude.

• Let all kids get involved.

• Teaches basic skills.
